How to Achieve Big Goals
Have you ever set a goal that you didn't achieve? If so, you're not alone!
We often set goals that are these big, grand things we want to achieve--and there's absolutely nothing wrong with that! Sometimes, however, we don't achieve these goals because they are so BIG.
So what do we do? To start, we can break that larger goal down into smaller goals. As we go along and achieve these smaller, incremental steps, it helps us continue to feel motivated and work towards the larger goal that we want to achieve.
There's nothing wrong with big goals (dream big, please!). Still, we want you to help yourself stay motivated and be able to celebrate along the way. Sometimes, we get discouraged when we're working towards a goal and it's taking us a long time (or in our minds, we think it's taking a long time) or we're not seeing results as quickly as we'd like to. But when we break our goals down and achieve one step at a time, we have something to celebrate along the way, pushing us towards the overall goal.
Identify your overall goal.
What is the BIG goal you want to achieve?
Identify weekly or daily tasks you can do to help you reach this goal.
What is required of you weekly or daily to achieve this overall goal?
Keep track of your progress.
Right down these tasks, and then keep track of your progress in a journal or notebook!
Celebrate as you reach milestones.
As you complete these daily or weekly tasks, take some time to celebrate your progress! Before you know it, you'll achieve your big goal!
Continue dreaming big. Continue working towards your goals, and celebrate all the work that you're doing in between.
